Merc CS Server

Guy's I can't get into your server to play, it shows lagged out all the time in either hlsw or in steam it's self. I can play in your DC server so I don't know what's going on I'm sure it's a ISP issue but, I don't know if it's Bayou or Bell South. Has there been anyone else with this besides me?

I've connected fine without problems all weekend. Then again, I don't use either Bell or Bayou...sorry.

I think snake has always had this problem.. well at least since 1.6

The CS and DC servers are in different places. I'm on BellSouth and never have a problem getting on the CS server...

Can you ping 209.209.214.5? Can you trace route to it?

I've used 209.209.214.5:27015 in hlsw from multiple locations and have never had a problem.

Here is what I get...and no I'm not running any firewall other than my Linksys Router but I haven't changed it's config either.

Can your tracert to any ip? can you tracert www.yahoo.com?

I spoke to him and he said that he can tracert to bayou.com which doesn't make since. Sounds like its either the arp tables or the routing tables in his router. He's going to try his other pc then try it without the router in place to see what happens.

I found problem I think I did anyway, my router took a dump on me and so I had to buy a new one, it has buil in wireless, I don't use this function and I turned it off when I set it up. Somehow it got turned back on and so I disabled it again, now you show up fine so I don't know what the heck is going on.
