Forums Probs? (ie. new posts)

when i surf the forums, i usually just go to the "view new posts" link. But lately i've noticed that some of the threads and posts that are seen on the front page (that are new) are not coming up in the 'view new posts' search.

Am I just a crazy canuck, or is this happening to others as well?

Operator error, maybe? J/J I get that sometimes but I figured it was some of the "MERC Only" threads that I was missing and that I understood but ... I wonder? :D

Actually Robbie - I think he's describing something different.

What it is (i think) for example, since the last time you visited, there were 10 posts in public forums, 5 posts in private forums and 4 posts in admin forum...

If you are a non merc, it will tell you that there are 19 new posts, but you'll only see 10 of them...if you are a merc - non admin, it'll tell you 19 new posts, but you'll only see 15 of them, and if you are an admin you'll see them all -

no i dont think so cause it still haoppens to me sometimes mine will say no new matches and ill backup and manually look at them cause i have access to all forums so it cant be that
