I remember when he got sick (with cancer) back in the early 80's. I was just a wee lad then, and I took the time to write him a get well card. The cool thing was, I got a reply. I have that reply at my folks house.

Yes it's truly a sad day to many many American's who grew up watching him, Mr. Moose, Bunnyrabbit, and Mr. Greenjeans.

When I was a little girl I use to hear my momma and daddy saying something about him but can't remeber what. I have never watched the show. When did the show air on TV? what year?
