Ok i just got my new system AMD 2600 with 512mg of dual channel DDR, installed windows XP Pro, and updated it with every update possable. I am running a G-force TI4200. Even updated the bios on my 7NNXP gigabyte motherboard.
Ok now that I have that out of the way. I can install BF1942 just fine, infact I can run and install everything just fine, but when I go to play BF1942, it gives me an error message saying " please insert the correct CD-Rom, select OK and restart application." WEll being that I have played this game before on my old system, I know which cd to put in and even better I know I have a cd-rom. Have tried installing different drives, still no good. I think it is a bios problem or OS problem, has anyone come across this before ????
