Hey guys....just got banned. Can I at least get a reason why, and if it is why I think it is, I'd like to complain about it. I was talking to Corona when I said the filter wasnt working, in order to show him I said "*****". I asked him about it on steam and it wasnt him, would my mystery banner like to give me a reason?

ok well yeh the second time was...but the b*t*h was just showing corona that it wasnt working...

i was expecting the second time for the filter to just pick it up...in which case it wouldnt have been a big deal

noob, if you ask that the filter isnt working, and an admin of the server says no to you, you dont say a word to show him that its not working... why would you? to prove to him what he already knew?

see when ive been playing with a filter for a few months...i kind of expect it to pick up on it. Sorry I didnt have any way on picking that one up.:rolleyes:

Thats when I did figure out that the filter was off, When I said B*t*h i was showing Corona that it was off...
First time-went around the filter...ok im sorry, i got a warning
Second time-Realized the filter was off
Third time- Showing Corona that it was off

well reguardless if you are perm banned or not, toby was working on the stats plugin and the filter was disabled to test conflict erors... i remeber you got an attitude about why dont we just leave the stats alone and stop messin with the server.. im sure thats just what toby wants to hear while hes takin his lunch break of from work to try to put a new improved stats plugin up.... then after that you go aroud the filter, then swear in team chat then swear in all talk to show corona its not working... all the admins in the server where notifed of this via toby, so i dont think its nessisary that you repeativly swear to show corona its not working.

You was kicked for swearing the first time which I made that clear after you rejoined. Then you continued to swear. If an admin kicked you for swearing, don't you think the admins know about the filter?

It was a temp ban but it could easily be increased. You messed up, you continued to push the envelope, its better if you leave it alone now

And now exactly how would I know that the admins were notified? I dont believe I'm in La_Merc, let alone an admin

once again, LA_MERC appreciates all the outside support when offered in an acceptable way, if you had just said "Corona im sure you already know, but i think the filter is down."

The mannor in which you presented this information and the attitude you took and the going aroud the word filter is the reason why you are in hot water now.. and it doesnt matter what admin kicked or baned you... no one is ever kicked or banned for personal reasons so when an admin takes action its usually cause a rule of LA_MERC was broken.

If you have played here for any lenght of time then you know that one of the rules of the server is no cussing. Does not matter if the filter was working or not you should not have been cussing. So you have no excuss. Consider yourself lucky it was not a permant ban, cause if you do it again it just might be.
