I was playing on FA server when they changed map to ice world it said could not fing DE_vagas wad..any know what to do..
also every time a server changes maps it say i timed out and i have to rejoin....i am gratful for any help that is forth comming??

you need to get de_vegas.wad. I know it sounds stupid but for some reason iceworld needs that wad file.

well scott its really quite simple if you break it down..

iceworld requires ice graphic to play for obviouse reasons, but the developers wanted to make sure that there was a complete balance of gameplay so they took the oposite of ICE.. vegas, big desert place, and make it apart of the map..

its really not that hard to understand...

I figure whoever created iceworld used part of the vegas wad to do so, which wasn't a problem because it was a default map. Now that they've removed it, we're all screwed over. :D
