CANT RUN CS FROM STEAM

SAYS IM HAVINF SOME SORT OF CACHE ISSUES!!!>> HELP!!>..

The game isnt even installed, I was told it would do it for me... its not in registry, but i didnt habe the folders still on here...

any ideas?

Also i cant connect to the friends server or anything!

Yu guys arent the only ones having issues, here is a fix someone posted on the steam forums:

FIX: SteamProcessCall(WaitforAppReadytoLaunch) error 15:Cache read failure
The current workaround for this is to

- right click the game w/ the problem in the Games window
- get Properties
- set Do Not Keep This App Up to Date (if not already)
- click Delete Local Game Content
- OK
- double-click the game and hit OK

It will download the game content again but the bug won't happen.

We're working on getting a fix for this that doesn't require downloading content again.
