i just got an "automated" email from steam...said that there was another steam user with my cd key....and that i would not be able to play until i get a new one....funny thing is...that other guy is me!! I had to change my email address which led me to create a new account....well to make a long story short....STEAM SUXORS!!!! at least until i can get back on CS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey Toby, after my post i tried to connect to cs and everything was fine. Previously i had tried numerous times to connect without any luck. I don't get it? oh well at least i'm able to connect for now. thanks for your willingness to help.

when I installed the steam client with teh CS cache it never asked me for a cd key. But I do remember when I used the original steam client, I did have to put it in...
