If you would read it says at the size 2816x2120 it is 6 mega pixels, and that's on the link that you posted!

WTH you arguing for?

"One camera that got a lot of people's attention in late July was Fuji's new FinePix S5000 ($499). The S5000 is a mix of the FinePix 3800 and S602 models, and it's also Fuji's first Ultra Zoom (10X) camera. The S5000 uses a 3.2 Megapixel SuperCCD HR sensor, which can produce images with 6 million pixels (through interpolation)."

That was on another website, now it says its through interpolation, well i had no idea what that meant.. Go
here (http://www.dtp-aus.com/interpol.htm). All that pretty much says is the camera "paints" the image at the said quality.. I don't know whether it actually means it protrays 6 mega pixels or if it just takes 3.2 and paint what 6.0 "would" look, as far as you know it could be a 5mp how can u tell other than what these sites and ur box says..

IT IS 6MEGAPIXELS...i have already taken several at that quality...

Well that's strange... You extrapolate out to something, like an estimate of what it would be... Interpolation consists of finding values within a know range of data... hmmm, oh well! Cool camera

I just snagged a Rebel digital . . . it is so cool having the extra megapixels - my last cam was a 2.1 mp Olympus.

Th rebel rox so far - pictures as good as the 10D but $600 less list . . .

Just for clarification the stuff in my right hand is my bowl, a can of spagettio's, and a coke. I was on the way to lunch when the Service Manager pulled me aside to show me a problem we were having with a compressor I designed. Come to find out his digital flow meter was off. Our quality department had "fixed it" sorry calibrated it, so it was understandably off. I tested the unit in the Engineering Lab, it ran fine, we shipped it, crisis diverted. Brent the Service manager in the picture (Ernie's direct Boss) is a very intellegent man with years of experience, but hasn't figured out yet you don't stop the Conda on his way to the trough. Limbs are lost that way.
