On another drug note...

I was in a local convenience store today and saw this package that said "the perfect blunt tube"...it was litterally, the brown wrapper from a cigar, packaged especially for rolling blunts...to all the cops, shouldn't that be classified as paraphinaila? (sp?)

Once you put the marijuana in it. Untill then they can claim it is used as a tabacco product. It is the same thing with bongs and pipes. You can buy them anywhere and as long as you us nothing but tabacco in them they are not illegal. But once you use them with drugs then they become paraphernalia. The drugs leave a residue in them unless they are cleaned very well.

I don't believe the whole residue thing, a friend of mine got a car from her grandmother and she got pulled over with me and my friend on the way to the movies the day after. Monroe or west mornoe swat said they foudn "weed residue" all over the car and swear that we were smoking it, which none of us do. IMO thats just a reason for the cops to attack us, but then again i don't see both angles....

In CA, a weed pipe is classified as drug paraphernalia...used or not. You ain't going to jail behind it that's for sure. You mentioned blunt wrappers....I'll do you one better. Next time you go into a small liquor store (especialy in not so good areas) look for these. They are tiny silk roses in a glass tube about 4-6in long with corks at both ends to keep the rose in. Well, take out the rose and the cork and what do you have left......crack pipe. How's that for marketing. Hell, down in Venice there are shops you can buy crack pipes right out of a display case. Obviously they don't call them that but there no legitimate use for a 6in hollow glass tube other than a pipet...theyre aren't too many scientists down at Venice so I'm guessing that's not why hey sell them.

Believe it man. Look at it like this. You roll a joint or a blunt there are going to be little pieces of marijuana that fall out during the rolling process. If you are doing it in a vehilce then all that stuff falls on the seats and the floorboard. Now you got marijuana in the car even though it is a very small amount. Even just having a seed is still illegal. Most Officers I know will not take you to jail over that small amount. I advise not to do drugs or be around people that do. Not saying that you do or are.
