Good for some that the rubber chicken is still on the market (you'd just have to know what I'm talking about here...can't elaborate ROFL). I heard that one of the candidates for governor of California is hoping that, if elected, he will reverse the law against owning ferrets - it's apparently illegal to own a ferret in Cali at present. Well, let's get that guy elected, huh?! I know the things they do with ferrets....'specially in San Fransisco (no, I won't go there either! LMAOOOOO).

b00ns....they are outlawed because the climate is perfect for them to thrive in the wild. The fear is that ferrets would either escape or be released and they would breed and cause all kinds of problems. Gerbils are outlawed too.

All i know is my sister has blonde hair and when lived in isreal for a year, every store keeper would always give her free stuff because it was a blessing to offer free things to a "blonde". Your fun facts for the day: Domesticated ferrets are almost always neutered -- almost all breeders have their kits neutered before they sell them. The reason behind it is, un-neutered female ferrets die if they don't mate the first time they go into heat, and un-neutered male ferrets are aggressive and smell really bad. Domesticated ferrets are also a completely different animal from "wild" ferrets -- their natural instincts have been almost completely bred out. If a domesticated ferret escaped, it probably wouldn't survive more than 48 hours (it wouldn't know how to hunt or hide from predators).

They're probably illegal because people tend to freak out when ferrets bite kids... They used to be illegal here in SC (actually, it was legal to OWN them, but it wasn't legal to SELL them... go figure). Now, they're legal, but pet stores that sell ferrets are required by law to have a big'ol warning sign saying that ferrets are known to bite for no reason and lash out irrationally or something stupid like that.

Blonde Kidnapper

A blonde was down on her luck. In order to raise some money, she decided to kidnap a kid and hold him for ransom. She went to the playground, grabbed a kid, took him behind a tree, and told him, ''I've kidnapped you.''
She then wrote a note saying,''I've kidnapped your kid. Tomorrow morning, put $10,000 in a paper bag and put it under the pecan tree next to the slide on the north side of the playground. Signed, A Blonde.'' The blonde pinned the note to the kid's shirt and sent him home to show it to his parents.

The next morning the blonde checked, and sure enough, a paper bag was sitting beneath the pecan tree. The blonde opened up the bag and found the $10,000 with a note that said, ''How could you do this to a fellow blonde?''
