Would you attend a Free LAN in RUSTON?

the IT director at LaTech is talking about hosting a free lan, all you would need to bring would be your tower, key board and Mouse..everyhting else is provided...

He ask to see how many would actually attend this, so i told him i would ask to see out of our group.

so all I have to bring is my tower? I dont need to bring a monitor? he is providing me with a 19" monitor to play one - w00t!! I even think it is an LCD!

no, you dont get to keep the monitors..lol..and they are all 17" ones, but better than nothing and considering it's FREE..well ya know...anyhow it is something that they are looking at, and i will let ya'll know as soon as i know..

i am not plannin it, i will mention it in here and if they show they show, but there will be other people that play at Tech now.....I had the best time today at school, there were like 10 people in the computer lab playing CS, they let me get in on one of the computers, and frag with them...i had more fun than i have had in a while there today...only problem at the lab was the really crappy vid cards, kinda reminded me of the day's when i had to play in software mode, cause the card i had wasnt good enough to do anything with..lol..BUT the pings were good.high teens'.....

Well.. how "big" of a free lan? I mean 12 - 20 people.. ehh.. I'll stay In MD. but if it were any more than a 60 person free lan.. I'd be on mah way(even though I vote no)

I'm sure i could make it if it were at Tech, but i'd also need a date. Only got a 3 week class this session then going back home for 3 weeks or so before fall quarter starts.
