Yes.....I am curious about the new halflife 2........will the long awaiting cs 1.6 be on that version of halflife or not.......knowing the money hungry people.......it will be......well i hope not.......yea another thing...Tracker you are butt sniffing n00b.. its all good....w00t....... :d: :d: :)

CS 1.6 will not be on the hl2 engine. It will based on the current halflife engine and should be released soon.

Release date of CS 1.6 = 4 months from current date

Apply this formula anytime you want to know when Condition Zero is coming out...

lmao, you know, i read somewhere that CZ will be released in Sept. Well that is the same month HL2 is getting released in, kinda silly i think.

BTW, one of the IT guys here at work has the 600+ meg demo from E3. All I can say is O M F G ! ! ! ! !

no requirements have been released yet bb, thats what i'm waiting on also, sept is when i'll be upgrading my pc, for HL2 and Doom3

I KNOW I'm toast....I can barely run Unreal 2K3. I might start buying shizz a peice at a time so I can build the damn thing by Oct. I figure a 2.5 with 512 RAM should get it done.

I think my 1 gig processor should be able to run it...

but I definitely need more ram and a new vidcard

but I need that ALREADY :)

I wouldn't count on that 1gig running it....Have you seen the 600 meg demo??? Its ridiculous.

I haven't seen it... you should buck up and upload that bad boy and post the link for the masses to exploit! :)

I think read somewhere that you'll be able to run HL2 on a bare minimum of 700Mhz, but of course if you want to turn up the eye-candy you'll want a lot more under the hood than that.

Also CS: CZ and CS 1.6 are "supposed" to have a syncronized release date. THey're saying the ppl who buy CZ will get 1.6 plus some eclusive content for CZ owners only, and like some high poly models and whatnot.
