Okay, Iwas going through the change in my pocket and noticed a new state quarter. Well, look it's Alabama... No lie the pic is below.

That's fine on the item.

As for the quarter... Other states have things like birthplace of aviation, the LA purchase, the Minutemen, Liberty Hall, etc.. The best Alabama could come up with is home of the deaf and blind. LMAO

This goes hand in hadn with an ad their gulf coast placed in a tourism magazine... "Alabama residents amazed by great ball of fire in sky" It was a picture of people on the beach pointing at the sun intended to show how nice and sunny their beach is, however it made them look like ignorant cavemen.

I didn't know that Helen Keller was an acuall person. The only thing I'v ever heard about her was the jokes. So from what I see so far, she is blind, deaf, and has no legs...... I wish they were all like that !!!!

American Icon??? I disagree on that one... I mean what did she really do? Read a book? I've done that once or twice... A real american hero would be like the footlong hot dog inventor, or giant styrofoam finger maker. I mean look at their accomplishments in comparison.....

Well Hellen Keller did a lot of work with the deaf and blind, and if I'm not mistaken I belive she her self was blind. There is a book about her life called "The Miracle Worker".
