do I smell an SC_MERC field trip to Myrtle Beach??
(I'm assuming that the IMAX in MB will be getting this. I haven't found any proof yet. If not, where's the next-nearest IMAX??)


Revolutions will be released to IMAX theaters the same day it's released to regular theaters.

I did about 30 seconds of "research"... I found a list of IMAX movies playing there *now* but I didn't see any links to future showtimes, etc. But like I said, I didn't look very long or hard.

And MB is a huge tourist area... so I'd say that having the new Matrix movie in an IMAX theater there would be great business for them... so I'd bet they'll get it.

how's IMAX different from say tinseltown? i ask becasue 1 there is an IMAX somewhere close around here and second casue i have no clue what the difference is between IMAX and a regular theater

Columbia has one too. There or Myrtle Beach would definetly be closer than Charlotte.
