one of my world war 2 online buddies posted this. His wife is a doctor and she has taken care of this family for a *long* time. The mother and little girl were involved in a bad car accident and the mom died. The girl is having alot of surgery, the hospital where she is at has a thing on their website where you can send a get well email and they will print it out and give it to her.

This is so sad, I'm literally about to cry sitting here at my desk. =/ If you want, read the thread and send her an email.
