Hey People,
Well i want to know whats the best dial up modem (for gaming) ...and another what is a good settings for dial up connections to prevent packet loss..and i set my rate to 3500 is that good or not high enough...give me your opinions or personal favorites ....help me plz :confused:

I use the performance pro Us Robotics modem (when my computer is not attached to Max's rr that is....LMAO), its alright, i think i liked the motorola modem i was using before a bit better, but it went kaput on me :(

So far as rates, Im not sure, I think most of my stuff is still set on default setting.

Check out this site Swamp, it tells you what most of the different settings are and what you might want to use as your numbers. It's not specifically about dialup access, but it helps you figure out what things you might want to tweak. I'm going to try it and see if any of it helped.
