is it an LCD? If so it may not be running the Benchmark at the native resolution of the screen...

OK, more questions, some obvious:
1. Latest Drivers?
2. Windows Fully Updated
3. See #2 including DX 9
4. turn off V Sync in the Nvidia Drivers and all FSAA and Antistrophic Filtering (I have ATI, some of the Nvidia guys can give you better instruction on doing that than I can)
5. Will it run 3D Mark 2001
6. Will it run all your games, optimally
7. Remember, in order to run 3DMark 2003, your mouse must be on the left side of the keyboard, turned upside down, and you must have the top most CD Rom Drive door open. (j/k, needed a laugh, it's late)

If it will run 3D Mark 2001 (should EASILY break the 11000 mark, I'd think, I get a little over 10 grand w/ my 2400 and ATI 8500 128M), and all your games, I wouldn't worry about it not running a benchmark, especially one that sucks and isn't going to show the true performance of your system...run 3dmark 2001 and watch it shine!

I'd still double check the drivers, maybe roll them back and then run the setup again to make sure you have a good install...get the latest from nvidia's site...

What kind of problems?
Yeah a funky install can do all kinds of bad things - when you reformat make sure you do a full format and not a quick format - keep us posted.

That card is AGP 8x correct? If your board is also running 8x, you may want to check the compatability of the two, I know some 8x motherboards have been having problems running these new cards. ou may try and throttle back to 4x too, since there is almost zero performance gains from the jump up to agp 8x anyways.
