Amidst all of the political bickering and such, one thig I would like to point out is that it's most likely we are going to have some sort of "military action" happen in that area, and many Americans have friends and loved ones over there doing their job, not because they feel it's wrong or right politically, but because it's what they do, and they are doing it cause it is their duty to do so.

On this note, several of you might remember a guy that works with Toby and I, named Bryan -- he came to a few of the LAN's over at Joel's house in Ruston, he played in our server quite a bit until he moved out in the boonies and lost his broadband. He played under the nickname REV.

He sent the call center a few emails with pics of what it's like over there, and I thought I would share with you guys. If anyone feels like droping him a line let me know and I'l PM you his email address.

His fist message is that, yes, it does rain in the desert.

I was 17 when I joined, finished high school and found myself in Iraq at the tender age of 18. One of the guys in my platoon was 17, he finished HS early.
