Who made the la_merc sign... and what program did they use? I know flash was used on the banner, but how did they make the acutal la_merc symbol?

I dunno about Intimid8or, but I'm sure he does this too...
In Photoshop everything is done in "layers"
For example, the red LA and the yellow Merc were two different layers - I never "create" with photoshop, meaning that I don't draw with it - I draw with a vector graphics program such as Illustrator or Freehand, and once I get drawings that can be layers of a bigger image, thats where Photoshop and the editing process comes in.

Do some research on the web - I'm sure you can find lots of Photoshop and Illustrator/Freehand tutorials out there - let google be your friend...

no - I have used a tablet, but I find I can do pretty well with just a mouse and some control...try turning your mouse speed down when drawing - i find it helps...
