OK, if it's running Red Hat Linux, it's not a Unix Server, it's a Linux server, and I didn't know ASP ran on Linux, I thought it was MS only, I could be wrong. You can do similar server calls w/ PHP and I think it's more stable/secure than Windoze, but I don't like MS for Net servers anyway, to prone.

I would stay away from ebay and try to find a reputable web hosting firm that is running BSD or Solaris and if it's running Solaris, make sure it's running on Sun servers and not intel boxes, i think it runs better on SPARC.
