hehehe Crazybones, if you ever tasted a cajun fried turkey, you would never want anything else but... It is injected with a mason jar full o' cajun spices the night before! But that much flavor might give you Yankee's heartburn lol

That looks very yummy! My uncle fries turkeys every christmas and it has become my main think to look forward to! Really awesome stuff. I do know he does something similar, by injecting a whole buttload of stuff in it - but man ooooo, it's so good!

I can honeslty say I have never had fried turkey. Have had baked and smoked turkey...but never fried. Also tried Turduchen (sp) and it was good...but never fried. Crawfish...but never fried.

Nevermind...this list could go on forever...

I think there was a little too much oil in the pot and some of it spilled on the side and caught fire. I think that's what I was trying to blow out. As for the broom, I carry it everywhere just in case there is any Shenanigans going on.

It's peanut oil, not that crisco crap...My old man fried a turkey for Super Bowl for the first time, and all I hafta say is THE SKIN IS DA BOMBDIGGITY!!! The meat was awesome, but nothing beats fried turkey skin!!!
