This goes along with Onji's setup pics...what's your desktop look like? I'll admit, I used to be a Mac freak, and we always had a screenie thread somewhere on the fourms I frequented, but have never seen such a thing in PC land, so I'm going to start one here...Take a screenie of your setup and lets see how we all compare...this is a Pic I got from Digital Blasphemy and edited slightly (added the trombone of course)...and bear in mind I resized this down from 1600x1200 to a more web friendly 800x600 so it may be a little squashed...lol.

so lets see how many join in...here's mine.......

Henry, hold down ctrl+PrtScn and that will copy a picture of your screen to the clipboard and you can then paste it into paint and save it as a picture...

Its CoolMon. I forgot the link to it, but a google search should pull it up. It takes info provided by vb scripts, MotherBoard Monitor, and windows information and posts it on the screen.


I use to use just MotherBoard Monitor, but this is much better because you can custom tailor it to a desktop, and provide much more information.

Ok...got tired of the dude with the trombone...something about it wasn't "right" and 1600x1200 is going to make me go even more blind than i already am no matter how bad I want to run at that (i dunno how you do it josh...) So I just went back to what I had before...

And BTW, I tried coolmon and it interfered with some games...i dunno about CS but NFS HP2 didn't like it much...lol.

That may be your problem there if you havn't done that.

Otherwise it tries to come to the top of everything.

this one is a picture of my fallen hero from the movie, megatron just blasted prime 3 times after a hella bad a battle which prime would have one if it hadnt been for hot rod!!! anyway both prime and megatron die after this battle, before megatron can kill prime there he knocks megatron over a big a ledge, any way here it is right before prime hits megatron.

I use stylexp to do all of my changes. It is shareware for 30 days, but if you look around, you make it not care about that shareware stuff.

The only mac i still own is the old 8100 along w/ a 15" color monitor and a 21" Radius Greyscale monitor (w/ own vid card)...I would still use it for midi and music notation (the 21" greyscale is perfect for b&w stuff like text and music notation, very easy on the eyes) but the hdd went a little over a month ago, so it's all sitting in my storage building right now...sad and lonely...hehehe. just thought i'd post them for some variety, hope you enjoyed...

Yeah Disorder, I used to play w/ Solaris, OS2, Different variants of Linux, FreeBSD - all kinds of stuff on Virtual PC on my Mac...

Anyway, messing around on the web today, and found a nice high res pic of Atlantis i really liked, so a new desktop for MadMAX...w00t!

Haven't messed with WindowBlinds in ages...I DID play with StlyeXP for skinning XP for a while, but I usually grow tired of stuff like that anyway...so dunno...
