All AMD guys here...lol
OK, I'm building a new computer for home - I decided a 667 PIII wasn't good enough for work, so I passed it down the food chain and brought my 1.7 Intel from home - so It looks Like I'm going to be AMDing from now on....BTW, got a 2000+...

Later guys...

Like I've said before - I've had AMD in the past - I wanted a faster comp at work...soooooo I brought my 1.7...BTW, biggie, your old board is going into the 2000+ - I hope it does better this time than it has the last 3 times ... lol

I'm splitting up my ram between the two comps - 384 at work and 512 at home - and I'm leaving my cd-rw at work and taking the dvd home...30 gig hdd at work and the new 60 at home...

Ok, I have to admit - my gaming performance is much much much better with the 2000+ - with my 8500 at 1600X1200 with anti-aliasing on, I'm staying locked at 99fps - on my 1.7, it fluctuated between 60-75...so I'll admit the AMD is better - and the 1.7 is MUCH better than the 667 I had at work before - and I stuck a 32MB TNT 2 in there when I took my 8500 out, so I'll be able to sneak a few rounds of CS in when we're slow...just don't tell Scott...lol.
