heh, obviously u haven't seen the 9700, as for now they says its the only card that can push Doom 3, not to mention i lucked out and got it for $200 as opposed to $399 retail, and gf4 is still expensive.

Radio... I told u the processor and motherboard to get... the amd processor with 333mhz front side bus is the way to go... Why get ram that is faster than your board and processor? .. does no good

Hey, I'm using the Radeon 8500, and I'll tell ya, most of the GForce4 cards can't compare to the graphics. Granted, they might have SOME compatibility probs with some mobos, but it is a GOOD card. the 9700 has a great graphics processor and some good memory, and they had games like CS in mind, so give the guy a little break in his choice of video cards. Good choice in sound card...Lt. DAN would agree on that one, that's the same card HE uses. And the only real prob I have with your configuration is the hard drive size...Go to Best Buy, get the 80 GB drive, and get it for cheeper than the 40 overall after the mail in rebate (trust me, I work there...) Good system though!

Welll I got a GForce 4 Ti 4200 in one computer and a Ti 4600 in the other and they both rock. Never played on one of those other cards, but I don't think that they could be much if any different or better than that 4600 that I have.

I have the 8500 Ati, 128, and I agree that the Nvidias just can't touch it when it comes to image quality...
