I want to set up a computer to run the CCS64 emulator and I want to find a bunch of games for it. So...........

1. Does anyone mess with this kind of thing? If not....you should. ;)
2. Does anyone know where to find a good repository of the games?
3. Do you think building a trick arcade style cabinet would be cool to do this?
4. The powers on here that have done these in the past are there any good resources on building such a cabinet?

Thanks

Emulators? Sparks would be your man. He is Uber-emulator-man.

I've got a Raspberry Pi 2 board that I'm getting ready to use for a C64 emulator. Just need to rifle through my set of ROMS and find the ones that work well. Of course if you are going to do a cabinet with custom controllers, then you probably want to stick with a more powerful x86 cpu. Interesting topic though. Let me know what you do though and include pics (remember, extra points if they show skin).

Okay. I will look into options and what not that I can find on the internets.

Check out this front end: http://www.emulationstation.org/

That should make an actual chassis like that more usable without a keyboard and mouse. I'm using it on my Raspberry Pi 2 box I have and it works pretty well. I still need to find a good usb joystick though.
