Any suggestions? I plan on crossfiring 2 ATI 5850 HDs, and I'm thinking either 2 27" or 3 23 or 24s. I'd like to flip them portrait to give a better viewing area, but one issues im finding on the 3 monitor setup is finding a stand to hold all 3 of them, begining to think it might be easier to build one myself...

So, any suggestions on monitors?

Ergotron is my go-to company for monitor stands. Pricey, but nice. That's all I use at work when I'm setting up multiple monitor workstations for engineers. Most of what I use are just 1x2 side by side setups, but they make 1x3 as well (and 1x4, and 2x3, and a buncha other stuff). Here's a link (http://www.ergotron.com/DeskMounts/tabid/71/language/en-US/Default.aspx) to their desktop display page. Also sold by Newegg and CDW.

Speaking of Newegg and as far as monitors, I've been really impressed by the Hanns-Gs that I've gotten from them. We use the 22" widescreen (HH221DPB, I think) as our standard at work, and I've only had one go bad since I started deploying them a couple years ago. Figure 200+ in use at my site right now. I got the 28" for my setup at home - they ran it at $279 a year or so ago and I picked one up. Nice.

I run an ATI HD5870 Eyefinity6 Card. I am using 3 22" monitors in the typical 1 row of 3 monitors for a resolution of 5040x1050. I like it a lot and it definitely looks sweet. Works good in CS:Source also. It does allow you to see "through" corners when crouching right behind them so you get the jump on anyone. I turned it off during CS:S just for this reason.

I think Ergotron is the best bet like Frag said.

Right now I have a ATI HD5850, I want to crossfire it, but being a bit noobish here, what cards can I use with it?
