My mom got a new heart

My mom had a successful heart transplant tonight. Doctors say all looks good!

Mom's doing great. Day after transplant asked the nurses for her makeup :p She is trying to get purdied up for ya, Nooch ;)

Mom should move into an apartment near the hospital next Wednesday. She is doing great! The trial surgery they did on me worked pretty well. It eliminated about 50% of the pain in my leg. Unfortunately, because it was a trial, they removed it Friday. I forgot how much frickin pain I was in :p Hopefully the VA will get me scheduled for the real thing within 3 months.
