Guys if u want meat for the freezer I would put in for 392, I put in for sieben last year and I will never hunt that again, road hunting, hill billy, idiots. Or organize a trip to Missouri Breaks for deer, it's just general tag over there, antelope to, I would drag the 5the wheel.

Gezz guys, all I got to do is sit in my stand on the back of my place, usually get 2 out of it... and this year I got rights to the 40 Acre's next to my land. I plan on setting up at least 3 more stands, each to work with different wind.

Sorry, I just had to chime in :)

Oh, I had about 8 deer in my yard a while back, and then a big buck at Thanksgiving...but I'm in city limits and would have to throw a spear at them. I don't have a spear... ;-)

392 is Gates of the mountains, from nelson along beaver creek to coulter campground over to and including hog back, easy drive, not to far from town, you WILL tag out for deer there, not huge bucks but large buck/doe population. Also includes avalanche/confederate gulches on the other side towards canyon ferry.

Sweet...I'm in. Will try to get my tags (2 deer...no elk because I've never actually seen one other than at Yellowstone and that doesn't bode well for actually shooting one) beginning of May

Sounds good..I will do deer there as well...make sure to put in for a doe tag as well, 50/50 draw on doe tags. r00k put in up there to. Tech, there is a good size resident elk herd up there, get and elk tag because you know if you dont you will get into them and not b able to shoot one.
