I just nominated my City for this and am working with the City Administrator to get a local Gov't application done. Also emailed the State Governor's Office and called them. They gave the ceremonial we will look at it see what we can do.

Hey Onji we have 0 fiber available here. The state has theirs but there is no fiber ISP here. Qwest dsl is 7Mbps/896Kbps ideal, and Bresnan Cable I have heard rumored at 13/13. I have 15Mbps/1Mbps at my house.

I believe were still stuck with 6 down and 50k up. It sucks when you consider Road Runner calls it "high speed" LOL.

I nominated our subdivision for it, since it didn't look like they were looking for entire cities. We're around 2200 houses, though.
