Kenny's In Second Year Of Walking Tour Of World

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Forget the trains, planes and automobiles. Bud and Patricia Kenny are getting a look at the world with the help of a mule.
The Kennys are in the second year of what they plan to turn into a walking tour of the world, with their mule Della pulling a cart with all their belongings.
The couple left Hot Springs, Ark., in June 2001. Since then they've traveled through Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
This week they're traveling through western New York, with a visit to Niagara Falls. Then they'll head east to the Rochester area, where they plan to spend the winter.
Next year, the Kennys -- both 54 -- intend to put Della aboard a ship and head to England. Then the plan calls for them to spend the next 15 to 20 years walking across Europe and then Asia.
The couple says they're doing it just to see different places and meet different people.
