My third system is in a constant state of power. I get no response from the power button, reset button and I have no display. Thinking it was the power supply I switched the PS from system #2 over to #3, same thing.

Motherboard?

Pull the bios battery?

Sounds like a bad motherboard but I'd first disconnect the power and reset button from the mobo and see what happens.

I didn't pull the bios battery, pulled everything else, except the CPU and fan.

Thanks T, I'll try that.

Sounds like your able to power up initially, but then nothing else right? You cant power back down? Im with Toby... sounds like the Mobo to me if its not something funky with the bios.

I pulled the battery, same problem.

Here's the real issue: once I connect the power cord to the power supply all of the fans spin up but I have no control via the power or reset buttons, nor do I have any video.

The motherboard went bad then. Sounds like it shorted out.

Just for shiz and gigs I would try a different Power supply if you have not already.

I am cuddling Toby on this also.

Sounds like the system board has bit the dust.

Actually, system 3 was the one that was having issues and he moved the working psu from system 2 to system 3 but that did not fix the issue.

It could have been read either way :)
