If you have posted in here to the tune of "the pledge shouldn't have been changed," you are probably wondering where your post went. I have deleted them. We have had this discussion before, and that thread is still available for posting for new arguments/discussion. This thread's purpose is to get a website out to sign a petition, if you disagree with the premise of the petition, then don't sign the petition. If you feel that strongly about it and need to post something to that effect, please either start a new thread or go to the old one. No cruel intentions here, just trying to keep things somewhat orderly.

How about writing or calling your Congressman/woman...online petitions carry no weight what-so-ever. Don't even waist your time with them...you may find more spam in your mailbox if you sign this.... sad but true.

This man's case might get thrown out. Apparently the child's mother has come out and said that

1) She is not an atheist
2) She does not mind saying the pledge

This is important because:

A) He was not forced to say the pledge (him being the atheist)
B) The daughter does not mind saying the pledge. This means that NO damage was done. The merit of his case was that his daughter was damaged by saying the pledge.

A petition is great and all, but this dimwit might just get beat in the courst first!
