Well, this isn't the most impressive catch you may have seen, but for a last minute trip during a time when even the guys on TV were having trouble finding 'em...

Here ya go:
I caught the 3 Black Drum (range in size from 19"-24")

This was out of East Point La Hache in American Bay

How big are the shrimp right now? Down when I lived in gautier they werent "ideal" till august....

The brown shrimp season was just closed in Barataria Bay due to the high number of juvenile white shrimp being found in the trawls. The white shrimp season will be opening soon enough. The shrikmp are as big as you want em to be Corbin. You can go the store and buy 12's or 45's.

hehehe Dixie goes good with fried fish. Picked some up with the fish fry. Thought y'all might want something for scale. What was I gonna do? Drink it?
