If the weather was better we would drop more, but the Deer with his tongue hanging out was arrowed by my compadre, Mike here are the shots.
Mike got him with his Tech-hunter extreme by Gander Mountain, a Beamen ICS 400 tipped with an American Sonic 100gr fixed blade. Mike shot him back and after we left him for 4 hours we found his trail, busted him off his bed and then tracked him to a thicket another 100 yards away while he sprayed blood across the Prairie grass. We caught up to him as he expired, in the thicket. Reagan was along for the chase down. The deer will do about 140 inches before deductions.
Oh as a bonus we caught sight of a coyote and I free handed him moving at 125 yards and dropped him in his tracks.
I've seen a buck in my area that will go about 180 inches, a weather change my get me a chance at him with my bow. other wise it's Rifle City Sweet Heart.
