First day of deer season

Well it's no Kansas deer and it won't be a wall hanger but it's gonna be a pretty rug and lamp.

I killed an 8 point Calico right at sunset. I was so amazed by it's coat I only saw it was a buck about 10 seconds before I shot it. Sucks I'm not a bow hunter because he was only about 35 yards.

I guess you'd call it a ground blind but I was just sitting on a bucket with my back to a tree.

It was like the 50th picture and I'm not that photogenic anyway Onji.

Nice deer. Had it been a farm animal (preferably male) and Wetzny were around I could explain the white coat...but he wasnt (this time)....Its definately different.

Nice man ive seen a few calicos before but never got a shot at one. One place I hunt they have killed two albino bucks over the last three years. I have killed 9 so far this season and still hav ea month to go :) only been about two dozen times. been a good year for me

Hard to have a bad year when you can hunt for 6 months. I only get 2 weeks to down my deer.

yeah our season i sreal long but we have way too many deer our season is 4 1/2 months I go to the stand many times and see 20 to 30 deer most of them are does though

Nice deer man. Never seen one with a coat like that. I got lucky and got a 7 point on the second day of rifle season. My brother shot a doe and I am pretty sure he pushed this buck to me while he was looking for his doe. Our stands are only like 500 yards apart.

yeah we got wet that day. The doe my brother shot run about 150 yards into some real thick stuff. We had a hard time finding her and it was raining the whole time. I was able to drop my buck in his tracks so just had to go pick him up. Which we ended up doing twice after he almost flipped the 4 wheeler as I was crossing a ditch. Luckly he rolled off the back and I did not flip.
