I'm not sure what type of readers we have in our family, but I personally have enjoyed this author's series, Wheel Of Time. It saddens me not only that he has passed away, but that he did so before he could finish this wonderful series. He was working on Book 12 of the 12 book series when he passed away.

He will be missed.

SONOFA! I've been reading that series for 7 or 8 years now and I'm not going to read the end of the series?

I also read the Wheel series along with my brother. I grew up reading his books. I dont read a whole lot of fantasy books, but I loved his. I agree, he will be missed and leaves an amazing storyline that had the best part ahead of it. I think he signed movie rights to one of the major stations to make a made for tv movie out of the first book but nothing came of it. He was also a veteran of Vietnam, 2 tours.
