latest fishing trip

Went out Saturday with about 2 hrs sleep. Was dog tired, but the fishing was good. We went to the usual honey hole. Coffee bay is about a 30min boat ride SSW of Lafitte. Tide range was 1.5' with max tide at 10:30AM so when we got out there at 7:15AM there was still plenty of water movement. We were using speculizers with live shrimp. By 7:20 I had the first red on the boat. 25-27 inch. My neighbor hooked a 35" bull red. We got a few more 25+ and a few 17-19(the best as far as eating goes). Final talley after 3 hours was 11 RED, 1 trout, 1flounder. 1sheepshead, and 1drum.. We could have KILLED them, but everyone was tired, and we ran out of bait.

well... why don't you just come over here and kick me in the bawls! lol... I don't own a boat! Well.. i do have a sailboat, but that aint good for fishing. When I DO get a boat.. It's on!
