I wish we could do this every time they tried to go up on prices for the US.

See they even have liberals over there:

Another legislator, Darioush Qanbari, said the measure "has caused dissatisfaction among people and an undesirable psychological situation in the society."

you can do something...Pick-up your phone and let your representatives know you're against this :stick :stick :stick :stick :stick :stick

I'm thinking that burning gas pumps isn't really the safest way to respond. Maybe we could get Ahmadinejad to burn one that still has gas coming out of it. I'll get on the horn with my senator about that.

"The 4th largest oil producer in the world and they can't ensure that their own people have enough fuel for day to day usage? "

I liked that comment at the bottom.

Iran only has one refinery. They export oil and import gas. Hell, they import everything but oil. If you wanted to cripple that country, just sit on the boarder and stop all their imports. They would crumble in a couple weeks.

Then again, I believe they are supported by Russia.. sheesh, who ever said the cold war was over, was smoking crack.

Don't get me started on gas. My wife and I go through $100 - $200 a week in gas depending on how much we are able to carpool together (yeah that's $400-$800 a month on gas).

I'm patiently waiting for a hybrid that can go 120 miles without recharge. The chevy Volt looks promising because it is a fully electric car that has a small gas engine that simply recharges the batteries.
