Resolution and vid settings?

My resolution is set at 1680x1050 in game. It looks awesome. I am having issues with the smoke grenades making me laggy as heck. Any suggestions.?

leave your resolution alone, but turn down your colors from 32-bit to 256.

change your refresh rate from whatever you have it (65-85 khz) down to 5-10 khz.


use a dual monitor setup. have the game displayed on one, and set all smoke / flashbang effects to display on the other.
