LOL, You have to admnit though. That's funny. I'm just amazed they got elevators to work at not working. Typical though, when you want them to work they don't and when you don't they're rigged, LOL.

Funny story.. In my line of work I also inspect elevators for shunt trip, and proper primary and secondary recall funtions. Well I was on top of the elevator rode it up to the top floor.... smoked the detetor in the top of the elevator shaft... it then takes off to the first floor like its suppose to, but the manual overide controls wont work once I get to the bottom floor... So no running the elevator back up to the top floor where I left the door open that I climed in on. Soo now Im stuck in the elevator shaft on top of an elevator looking up at a door 6 floors up... and no way to get out..... I eventually got the attention of maintenace guy... who got a ladder down to me from the 2nd floor door so I could get out.. but it was a TRIP.
