Sweet A$$ system is down.. power supply or Mobo, unknown at present time.
When it comes back she'll be packing 4 GIGS baby, I'm tempted to use Reagan's Suped up off the shelf Dell, but fighting that urge.
Say a prayer for me, as I cope with BF2 withdrawls....

Power Supply is bad... Checked out a power supply I had laying around, fresh of the the Dell shelf, plugged the 24 pin and 4 pin connectors in and the MOBO posted.
2 questions, Yellowdog posted a power supply reccomendation, would that be a good one to replace the current dead one with?
I have two sticks of 1GB Geil PC3200, could I add more RAM easily without asking for trouble?
Thanks!

Antec makes good power supplies. You have to watch those off brands because they hardly ever push the power they rate themselves for. Antec usually gives you a stable true power across all rails
Enermax is another I wouldn't hesitate on recommending
This one has 219 reviews and still a 5 star rating

enermax is what I have been running.. good, clean power.. very stable. I had an article around here about the big name PSU's and which ones lie about ratings, but I can't seem to find it. Toby hit it right on the head. All PSUs are NOT the same. Do NOT skimp. A bad PSU will not only cause the system to be unstable, but it can cause damage. A lesson I had to learn the hard way.

Ok going to drop the hammer on this reccomendation from Toby, thanks.
Now if someone would give me a few thoughts about my desire to go with another 2 gigs of dual channel RAM, I would greatly appreciate it. Parker and I found what we think would work best (it matches what is already in my system) Please advise!
Thanks all for your help!
