I bought one of this guys books at Bj's Wholesale last weekend because Clancy had a quote on the back that he was good. Turns out Clancy was right, the first book was a little slow but I really got into the character about halfway through and now I'm jones'in for the next book. I read Semper Fi which is the first book in a series which is set just before WWII. Well actually during but not while we were in the war. The last chapter of Semper Fi is when the Japs bombed Pearl Harbor, which is probably why I'm excited for the next book.

Just thought I'd let yall know about a new author I found and see if anyone else had heard of him.

W. Griffin has written a LOT of good books. By Order of the president was really good (read most recently).

He has several series of books...so if you like one of the books in the series, then you're set for a while!
