for letting someone else sit in my stand - putting up roughly 70 lbs of dressed out meat. Damn my back hurts - but that's what I get for telling my brother in law he can sit in my stand - I'm just glad he only got the small one and not the big one - I'll get him one day this week, I hope.

His was a 4 point, roughly 100 lbs. The other one is probably an 8 and pushing 175.

LOL Dude... come to KS and shoot a DEER.... Not a dog with antlers... :stick The doe I shoot this year, on the rail (without, head, hide, guts, and legs chooped at the knees) weighed 85 LBS. What the hell you feeding those deer down there? Birdseed?

Blast that sucker and lets see some pictures!

Well. around here thats a good deer, we dont have the colder climate and wider ranges to support larger game.

We have pretty big deer here walking through town...like on the streets and everything. I believe, though, that hunting in the city limits is against the law. Then again, it's only against the law if you get caught!

I will say though that there are BIG deer here called "Elk" and even bigger deer called "Moose"...I don't want to meet either of these with my truck.

Send me your season dates and an address. I'd LOVE to, Public or Private ground? and I'll be bow hunting, not rifle. Thoughts?

All of the above.

I could look into bow hunting. I did a year of it in Wyoming.

I would plan to go down around the Ennis area.

1. My best friend lives there.

2. Alot of great hunting available.

3. We could get some good scouting done before season.

What would you like to hunt?

I would say Elk and Deer. They are the most realistic. Lets run with this. I am game. I would say sLingbLade is game, but I cannot get him to make lunch on Fridays. He has a fancy bow though. He may want to make it into a blood spiller eventually.

I'm 'game' I've got to figure out the dates then decide if I want to Bow hunt (prefer) or rifle hunt (not prefer, but more likely to harvest an animal) I would bring my hunting buddy Mike and we would likely plan on two travel days and 5 or 6 days of hunting. You think September?

Prolly Elk..
