Looks like your D/L'ed is about 50 % slower, but your upload is typical.

Im on campus, which this is what they describe my internet as being:
The campus network at Texas A&M University consists of a Gigabit backbone and hundreds of ethernet LANs. The network connects over 200 buildings and has over 60,000 network ports. Network traffic on campus is connected to the Internet via both commodity and Internet2 high-speed connections.

Dammm Highwind, you could host a server with that kind of upload speed.

I tried different locations with weird results. I tried atlanta and only got around 4mb and got 9 with dallas. I tried speakeasy.net and it says 10mb. I work in the building where the gigabyte line comes in, haha. I've wanted to bring my pc from home with my gigabyte ethernet card and hook it into our control center just to see what it does, haha.

You can also read the little info they have here. SBC Yahoo pro package is basically up to 3 megs down and up to 384 Kbps up

Chi, with those speeds, I would just call and complain to your provider. You can tweak to get a little more but it doesn't like you have anything to tweak.
