Ok heres what I got,
AMD Athlon 2800+
K7n2 Delta MSI 400 MHZ FSB. Mother Board.
I can run up to 3 Gb of ram, I currently have 2 x 512 sticks of SDRAM. I want to upgrade with 2 gigs of DDR SDRAM, I have read some reviews on new egg about CORSAIR, but it dont sound to promissing.
XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145575)
This is some exspensive ram in my book, but the reviews that Ive read lead me to belive
with their products its a crap shoot as to if your going to get a bad stick..
IMO.. for 200 - 300 dollars I should not have to deal with that.
So what do you guys think... Is KINGSTON better than CORSAIR...
Help a brother out... Im trying to get BF2 to smooth out, and I dont need to build a new machine at this time.
On a side note, dose anyone have 2 gigs DDR sdram 3200 that they are no longer in need of?
Maybe we can work out a deal second hand??
