One of my wrecks at Talledega, I dove into a curve with cold tires. The bike washed out from under me and I slid on my back toward the outside out the curve. At the edge of the asphalt there was a drop off to the grass. There was a corner worker standing a few yards away. When I slid off the track, I went straight into a run toward to the corner worker. When I got to him he had a look of disbelief in his eyes. I couldn't help but laugh at the guy. He was all wide eyed asking if I was ok. I was thinking, umm yeah fool remember I ran over to you.
