It's been a while since I've seen more than 9 people on the forums at one time. Today we had as many as 12. Anyone remeber teh days back when we had 90 people on the forums at one time. CRAZY!

It was when we lost an ass of members to UGA... they had lots of tension in merc and the trash split.

the 90 online users was well before the UGA thing. it was about 3-4 years ago. we had a very active community and server at the time. right at 1000 registered users. i think the 90 people at once corrosponded to a large LAN event MERC was hosting and a major release in CS, can't remember if it was Source or if it was CS going retail, or what the hell. it's all kind of a blur.

yep C.O. is basically right, and technically it was a glitch where it was miscounting, but we did have an ass load of people that day, I just remember that not all 90 people were on at the same time, but the counter was keeping everyone on, even after they logged.

Well, I do remeber the day the Whole UGA hates merc thing went down... there were so many people on the forums refreshing the pages, and on the teamspeak server catching the blow by blow... that we crashed the forums... and along with it went the Teamspeaks server.

It was a very buisy night.
