Me and Spark basically have those rigs (all the main pieces) with lian li cases.
what is the ram corsair 3500llpro?
I also have a bigger power supply, but do not have the sound card.
Also have 2 120GB h/d in raid 0, and Spark has the raptors i believe.
oh just saw we also have the 512Mb video cards.
We paid in Early December '06 $3500ish for all the parts.
as info for ya.

ummm price used... Today, I would say those parts are like $2600-$2800 ,new, for mine.

worst that can happen is he says no and you make another offer.

It would be a great deal for that, he would be an idiot to let it go for that price. Maybe he needs the money?

What would be a fair price.... I'm not trying to steal it...

I do not know just price the parts on newegg, and take 20% off for used and tell him here is my offer...it may be $1500, but I would think $2000 is the fair market value, but that is just my opinion based on what I bought 10 months ago.

but I know the proc is $600ish and the 2 vid cards are $600ish alone.

I just purchased the 4800 x2 for 280.00

The prices have dropped dramaticaly in the cpu department.
I would definately take that into account.

true, especially for the older model socket A's. that is why I said put all the parts together on newegg, and figure the used/hassle ratio to get that price

$300 for that proc is nice. What was the price of the fx-60?

I've offered 1500.00 and half the insurance and shipping. Thats where I book this thing out at.. We'll see...

The FX 60 is running just a touch over $600. I looked at it but the $300 4800 x2 was just to sweet to pass up. I get a sweet gain over the 3500+ single core I am running now. My kids get a big jump as well cause they get to go to the 3500+ from a athlon 2400.

Ok Done deal on this rig. $1500.00 via pay pal and 50/50 on the transport costs and insurance. The other party has never recieved any money via pay pal, what can I tell him? Do we do the transaction like any pay pal transaction? Thanks for all the help! Like I said if you ever need to find some oil and gas I can help, anything else ...well I'm almost a retard!

Almost a retard is less than a full retard… so technically that means I’m more of a RETARD... than a retard. I think.

Im actually looking at building a new rig pretty soon. Maybe around christmas time after I pay off my new LCD TV (which is badass BTW). So I might be coming around asking for some recommendations. Ive already upgraded just about to the max this mobo will handle without going extreme with it. So its gonna take a new mobo to get the kind of improvement I want.

Ok the money has been exchanged via pay pal, and the system is in a cpu box and will be fedex over the weekend. ETA Tuesday... Here are a few pictures and once I get this baby rolling I'll be "killin the mos!"

Thanks again for all the help...
