EA Updater error

Ok, Im trying to update my EA Updater.. It failed...

Now, I looked it up on Google, and I found this...

However, I have no clue how to fix it. I tried to follow the directions, but it seems my IT skills need some sharpening!

Any ideas?

Yeh, I tried, but after clicking the add/remove button, it flashes and disappears. I guess I could delete the file and go into the registry and hunt and kill all the entries...what do you think?

Just try to reinstall over itself then uninstall properly and reinstall properly

Go to Start >> Run and type winver

Give back the results

Download this file and remove the .txt extension so it reads stdole32.tlb and then put it in your C:\windows\system32 folder
